OUR COVID-19 POLICY

ENTERING AND LEAVING THE BUILDING

Please ensure that you only enter and leave the building one at a time and keep a two metre distance from any colleague. If anyone is advancing in the opposite direction then please wait until they have passed safely.

FLOOR MARKINGS/DESK LAYOUT

To help you operate safely in the offices and shared spaces, flooring around your desks have been delineated with tape that has been measured at a two metre distance.

KITCHEN

If a colleague is using this facility, then please wait safely outside until they have finished their food preparation. Before and on conclusion of using the kitchen, please remember to wash your hands in accordance with PHE guidelines.

TOILETS

Only one member of staff is allowed to use the toilets at any one time. Please wait for your colleague to leave safely at a two metre distance before entering. Notices are displayed outside the toilets as a reminder. A traffic light system is in place. Please use it.

STAIRS

We will need to operate these as a one way system so please allow someone to complete their ascent/descent before using the staircase.

SOCIAL DISTANCING

Guidelines require us to maintain two metre distancing from each other. Floor tape is in place to assist with this in the office spaces. Please have regard to each other's space and wait to pass if others are in the room.

ACCESS TO THE PUBLIC

Appointments are to be pre-arranged. We will continue to operate COVID-19 precautions.

When appointments are booked we will ask the questions on our client pro-forma.

When attending our offices clients will be asked the questions on our pro-forma again. Their tempratures will be taken and they must wear a face masks.

Track and trace details will be entered by the fee earner into the Track and Trace register.

Telephone and video appointments will be offered initially. If inappropriate, then face to face appointments will be arranged.

CAR PARK

Please keep a two metre distance when getting in/out of your car and approaching the back door exit.

CLEANING

This will include: door handles, kitchen surfaces, taps, toilets and basins.

We ask that you are responsible for keeping your own desks, laptops and telephones clean and we have provided appropriate cleaning wipes/materials to do this

HAND SANITISER

There are hand sanitisers available at both entrances/exits. Please make sure to use them but also remember to PLEASE WASH YOUR HANDS REGULARLY.

EVACUATION PROCESSES

If we need to evacuate, then please try to maintain social distancing.

 

Questions to be asked of clients when making arrangements for them to attend the office for an appointment

 

Please don't take offence but we must ask the following:-

1. Have you been abroad within the last two weeks?

2. Are you short of breath?

3. Do you have a cough?

4. Do you have a temparature?

5.Have you recenty lost your sense of smell and taste?

6. Is anyone in your immediate social bubble currently self isolating?

 

any there are any YES responses to these questions then it means that the appointment will have to be re-arranged or made outside of the current guideline period of fourteen days.

 

Please also inform clients that only they will be allowed into the office for their appointment and that anyone who attends with them will have to wait outside the office.
