David has extensive experience of representing clients in both police stations and in Magistrates' Courts. He has had conduct of cases involving murder, manslaughter, armed robbery and serious fraud. He also has experience of representing clients in private prosecutions such as trading standards and health and safety matters.
He joined Smith Dawson in 2003 where he has specialised in Magistrates' Court work including trial advocacy.
David was educated locally qualifying as a solicitor in 1979.
He is a member of the police station and court Duty Solicitor schemes.
