Amanda works as our Crown Court Clerk and has responsibility for the casework on all of our Crown Court files. When necessary she attends court in order to assist barristers that we have instructed to represent our clients as well as providing support to our in-house Higher Courts Advocate.
Since graduating in law from the University of Wolverhampton in 1994, she has resisted following the path towards qualification as a solicitor as she prefers to work behind the scenes, maintaining the quality of our files and case preparation for in excess of the last 20 years.
Amanda has an extensive knowledge of Crown Court practice and procedure and has a particular interest in assisting advocates during the trial process. She has been involved in trials ranging from high profile murder through the full spectrum of serious crime including attempted murder, serious violence, large scale drugs supply and high value conspiracies to burgle/steal as well as rape and historic sexual abuse.
